For ten years, the fleet of shuttles NASA can take twenty tons of material in their bunkers, provided the bulk of heavy deliveries to the space station. The recycling system of water will be particularly important when space shuttles can fly over, especially as partners in the ISS plan to double the crew aboard the station, three to six astronauts. This new equipment, carried by the shuttle Endeavor enables recycling of waste water, condensation and even the urine of astronauts. Endeavor took off last Friday for a mission of 15 days. The shuttle must return to Earth on November 29. Sixteen nations are involved in the ISS program with a budget of 100 billion dollars.
