The City of Riviere-du-Loup and the municipalities of the MRC de Rivière-du-Loup announced Monday that they join the firm Valorr Portneuf and its subsidiary Envirogaz to convert organic waste into fuel and fuel. The three entities will form a joint venture company, owned 49% by the private developer. This is the first similar project in Quebec. The construction of facilities will be completed next spring.
